A group of Harley-Davidson dealerships in Michigan has announced that it has agreed to go with Chrome Capital and its TestRide lease program.
The four Wolverine State H-D dealers believe that this new lease program will bring new riders to their dealers. These leases run from two to three years in length without any mileage limitations. When the leases end, there are no additional obligations, while at the same time they give customers the option to buy, lease or return the motorcycle.
These customer-friendly lease details are especially needed in Michigan, some say. ”We are in a challenging marketplace in Michigan. This is a new tool we can use to get a Michigan rider to get on a bike at good rate, with no to low down – it complements our goals,” said Gary Krupa, GM at ABC Harley-Davidson.
At least one of the dealers has already found success with the program. Speaking about this, Brighton Harley-Davidson GM Dan “Gus” Gusoff said, “We submitted 40 applications in the first weekend. The Chrome Calculator delivers model- and year-specific lease quotes instantly, allowing our sales managers to close more deals. Everyone who walks in the door is offered the TestRide.”
